How we work

A dentist who explains first

Sheen is a general dental practice for adults and families on South Lamar. Your dentist examines you, explains what they found and lays out your options, including watching something and leaving it alone, before anything is scheduled.

We take digital X-rays only when they are needed, so you can see what we see. What you can expect depends on your teeth, your health and how you care for them, and your dentist will tell you plainly.

What we offer

From a routine cleaning to a crown, with your options and the fee explained first.

  • Preventive care

Checkups and cleanings, with X-rays only when your dentist decides you need them, and a plan for how often to come back.

  • Cosmetic dentistry

Whitening, bonding and porcelain veneers, after an exam and a talk about what each can and cannot change. Results vary.

  • Restorative care

Fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and implant crowns, provided by a general dentist. We numb the area first and stop when you ask.

  • Straightening teeth

Clear aligners and braces for teens and adults, provided by a general dentist. Your dentist explains the time, the retainers and the risks first.

  • Urgent visits

Toothache, a broken tooth or a lost filling: call us. We hold time for urgent visits when we can and tell you what to do until you are seen.

How a visit works

From your first message to your follow-up.

  • Request a visit

Send the form or call. Tell us a day and time that suits your schedule and how to reach you.

  • Exam

Your dentist looks at your teeth and gums, takes X-rays if needed and explains what they found.

  • Plan and estimate

You get your options in writing, with a written estimate before any treatment starts.

  • Treatment

We numb the area before we begin, check in as we go and stop when you ask.
